 In Various

The McCracken County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), together with the Chapter 7 Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA) delivered blankets, food, tents, and clothing to “Tent City” on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

Donations of tents, blankets, can openers, flashlights, and batteries will still be collected at in the Activity Room of the McCracken County Senior Citizen Center at 1400 H. C. Mathis Drive, Paducah, until December 15th for the homeless Veterans, individuals and families living in our community. Pictured, left to right, are RSVP Volunteers Agnes Sumner and Jewell Graham, Rene Kreps of the DAVA, “Wild Bill” from Tent City, Andy Kelly of the DAV, and Eva Hayden of the DAVA. We at the RSVP appreciate all the great work our volunteers do for this community, especially during this busy holiday season.
